and automobile travel, it is the wholesale convenience store

suppliers deal only with established distributors, variety
stores and branded convenience stores, others will also
sell at discount prices to the single buyer.
Another key element of wholesale convenience store activity
is the novelty/gag/humor item, from pens and key chains to
posters and shirts with humorous quotes and pictures on them.
Many suppliers also make sure that convenience stores are
well supplied with in-demand tobacco products, especially
low-cost cigarettes and smoking accessories. Candy is a big
seller in the wholesale convenience store area as well, with
soft drinks of every description a close competitor for the
traveler's dollar.
A brief look at the wholesale convenience
store industry will also reveal the increasing popularity
of chain "dollar" stores
in which shoppers can find everything from prescription and
over-the-counter drugs to groceries and furniture items.
The key word for including these stores under the wholesale
convenience store umbrella is the word "convenience." The
traveler or afternoon shopper can find just about anything
they want or need. Quite simply, it is convenient.
The wholesale convenience
store field is served by huge warehouses. Many several
different chains and the volume demands that products be
purchased and shipped in pallet loads rather than boxes.
